Prior to my purchase of these earbuds, I was constantly awakened by heavy traffic flow, tinnitus, the neighbors dog, or their lack of etiquette in nightly noise abatement, and the fire department being across the street at all hours of my "sleep schedule." (Yes, I'm a very light sleeper.) Knowing past experiences of owning/using ear plugs/loops, headphones, fans, etc., I knew I'd need something special, and I've found these work for me! Now, with one setting, I'm fast asleep, and stay asleep! I barely hear the sirens of the fire trucks, or the loud popping of an under achiever with his too rich fuel mixture racing down the street, and the prior to 4th of July and later fireworks in my neighborhood, although I can still hear the wife for some reason. I'm able to listen to a good mixture of differing natural sounds/noise, pink, white, brown, water, fire, forest, etc., in the app, which is very easy to navigate through the different system settings. All is good with my favorite white noise, which actually drowns of the majority of the tinnitus I suffer, and surprisingly the fit works extremely well with me being a side sleeper again! The silicone ear tips and cups manage to stay in place very comfortably all night, (this will take a little bit of time to get used to, so don't fret, you'll work it out quickly) and on average the battery lasts about 8.5-9 hours. I have yet to use the alarm setting as I'm disabled, but I'm sure it works, and can also listen to music of my choice before switching over to my usual sleep settings. (Mind you, there isn't a microphone built into these as you'd find on regular earbuds, and this helps keep the size profiling down to allow such a good fit in your ears.) There is also a sleep monitoring capability in the app, but I'm not using it as I'm more than happy with the level of sleep I'm finally able to get. Overall, a bang up job on the earbuds, and I'll be purchasing a back up set later today.
