As the earbuds support Primary/Secondary switch, both of them can pair to your phone as a master device. When the right earbud is Primary, the connected Bluetooth name is Spirit X2, when the left earbud is Primary the connected Bluetooth name is Spirit X2-L. If you would like to use the left side only, put the right side in the charging case and close it. Select "Spirit X2-L" to pair.

They were confusing at first but after getting to know what you need to do they work fine. No complaints here.

Good sound quality, great headphones. My only complaint is that if I wear them for too long my ear starts to hurt, but this only happened after 4 hours straight of wearing them.
